Job Description

The Associate supports the Premium Consumer Audio business unit’s most critical strategic initiatives, contributing directly to how the BU anticipates consumer needs, responds to market dynamics, and identifies growth opportunities. Working as part of a high-performing strategy team, the Associate will collaborate with colleagues across Product, Supply Chain, Finance, Research, and Go-to-Market to gather insights, structure analyses, and develop recommendations that inform executive decision-making.

This is a highly analytical role designed for individuals who are curious, ambitious, and eager to understand how consumer, market, and operational trends come together to shape a global business. Associates gain exposure to the full strategy lifecycle - from problem framing to research, analysis, synthesis, and communication - while learning from experienced strategists and senior business leaders.

THE TEAM

The Strategy team for the Premium Consumer Audio business unit is responsible for driving commercial and operational value through high-priority cross-functional initiatives that unlock new growth, deliver efficiencies, or build competitive advantage. We investigate emerging consumer needs, market dynamics, and operational models to identify opportunities and challenges. We are a multi-disciplinary team that balances creativity with analytical rigor, leading initiatives from market discovery to validation and scale. RESPONSIBILITIES

Market & Consumer Research

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging consumer behaviors.
  • Synthesize insights from internal data, analyst reports, and market research into clear findings that support decision-making.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and white-space areas that could inform category expansion or operational improvements.

Financial Modeling & Business Case Development

  • Build quantitative models to evaluate the potential impact of new initiatives (e.g., new product categories, time-to-market accelerations, cost-to-serve optimizations).
  • Develop business cases in partnership with Finance, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and valuation.
  • Translate findings into actionable insights that connect to BU financial goals.

Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Support workshops, interviews, and working sessions with leaders across Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
  • Help capture inputs and perspectives, synthesize takeaways, and organize next steps into structured plans.
  • Act as a connector, ensuring project progress and learnings are documented and shared across teams.

Communication & Deliverables

  • Create high-quality presentations, exhibits, and storylines that bring complex analyses and insights to life for BU leadership.
  • Translate research and financial modeling into compelling narratives tailored for senior stakeholders.
  • Support development of strategy memos, leadership updates, and cross-functional communication.

Team Contribution & Learning

  • Partner closely with other team members to deliver on end-to-end project needs.
  • Take ownership of workstreams within broader initiatives, balancing independence with collaboration.
  • Actively build skills in strategy, problem-solving, and executive communication to prepare for future career progression.

QUALIFICATIONS

Hard Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business analysis, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to structure ambiguous problems.
  • Proficiency in Excel/financial modeling and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and written communication skills.
  • Project management skills

Soft Skills

  • Systems thinker with curiosity for consumers, markets, and business operations
  • Self-starter with learning agility; thrives in ambiguous environments

The hiring range for this position in Framingham, Massachusetts is: $96,800-$133,100.
