Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $69,300 to $95,315; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Education / Certifications:
- BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum of 2 yrs. experience, preferably in the food industry
- Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity. Knowledge of biscuit formulation/processes is a strong plus
- Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: conduct appropriate testing, gather and analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings
- Demonstrated ability to handle projects from bench top to full commercialization
- Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
Travel requirements:
- Travel up to 15% to locations in Canada, US, and Mexico
Work schedule:
- Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
