Associate, Referral Marketing

We’re looking for a Referral Marketing Associate to be the primary executor of our referral funnel. You’ll be a versatile executor responsible for the campaigns that turn our customers and partners into our biggest advocates. This role is built for someone who loves the 1,000 little things that go into a perfect campaign: the copy, the sales templates, and the cross-functional coordination that keeps the engine humming.

A day in the life (Responsibilities) 

• Campaign Execution: Build and launch multi-channel referral touchpoints, including emails, in-product placements, and social posts designed to drive customer engagement.
• Sales Enablement: Support Sales activation by creating and maintaining the one-pagers, slide decks, and email templates that empower our teams to generate referrals.
• Expansion Support: Execute targeted referral initiatives for specific business units, including Retail, International, and Strategic Cuisine.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Care to ensure a seamless advocate experience and identify gaps in the existing referral journey.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate the referral journey to identify ways to simplify the experience for our advocates and improve efficiencies for our internal teams.

What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)

• Experience: 1+ year of experience in marketing execution, growth marketing, or managing referral/loyalty programs.
• Communication: Strong written communication skills with the ability to write engaging, human-centric copy that resonates with our community of business owners.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience with marketing technology (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, or specific referral platforms).
• Pride in the Details: Meticulous executor who understands that the small things matter. You double-check the work to ensure every touchpoint is smooth, accurate, and ready for launch.
• Adaptability: The ability to remain organized and positive in a high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• Industry Passion: A genuine interest in the hospitality and retail industries and a desire to help small businesses succeed.

Special Sauce (Nice to Haves)

• B2B Expertise: Experience in B2B marketing, particularly within the hospitality or tech space.
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana) to keep complex campaigns on track.
• Sales Support: Experience partnering with a Sales team and a genuine interest in creating the resources (like templates and decks) that help them succeed.
• Design Aptitude: A basic understanding of design principles or experience using Google Slides or Canva to polish materials.
• Data Literacy: Comfort with (or a desire to learn) data tools like Sigma, Hex, or Snowflake to help track how our programs are growing.
