The Associate Product Manager – Digital Shopping Path will focus on building and maintaining the product roadmap for Search & Product discovery, Product Recommendations, Coupons, Content Management and Lists. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to brainstorm ideas and define product requirements to then execute the same in partnership with UX & Engineering on a day-to-day basisThis role will report to Senior Digital Product Manager and will work on features for website & mobile app. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in delivering above mentioned features for Digital platforms.  

 

Responsibilities include 

  • Understand key business objectives and strategy for the product 

  • Work with business owners to ensure they are engaged and supportive of the direction 

  • Work with third party partners to coordinate integration and deliverables related to website and app 

  • Maintain and refine product backlog  

  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria 

  • Ensure stories clearly communicate customer/stakeholder needs to the engineering team; work with team to clarify requirements as needed 

  • Build AI driven features and experiences within shopping journey to encourage faster purchase decisions 

  • Understand and support inter-team dependencies, as applicable 

  • Coordinate User acceptance testing with business stakeholders and communicate release timeline   

  • Partner with development and release team to ensure features are released as planned 

  • Lead Product team stand up meetings with designers, developers and testers  

  • Handling multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment 

 

Requirements 

  • 3+ years of product management experience executing strategic priorities 

  • Experience working for digital platforms and eager to learn new functions within product 

  • Experience using data and analytics to drive feature enhancement 

  • Good understanding of customer needs, business strategy and new market trends 

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence  

  • Experience with data enrichment process and ecommerce systems is a plus 

  • Basic understanding of product development and APIs 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Explaining complex concepts shouldn't be a problem for you 

  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical partners 

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills 

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $98,000.00 - $128,500.00
