Duties:

Drive the front-end vision across all product engineering teams at OCC. Serve as a partner to all product development teams and set the standard by which technology will be delivered at OCC. Utilize software engineering principles and work closely with design and UX teams to deliver next generation experiences across applications. Work with product development teams to troubleshoot and problem-solve user interface challenges from both a development and design perspective. Develop and design financial systems using ReactJS, Typescript, Axios and React Query. Build UI applications as micro-frontends in a Single SPA framework leveraging Webpack and OAuth 2.0 authentication protocols Redux and Redux-Form to manage global state in web applications. Maintain core components using Storybook and shared logic for UI applications including authentication modules based on Oauth 2.0 and React Context. Work with product development teams to enhance and refactor components for reuse and contribute to the larger Design System. Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for microfrontends, improving engineering team efficiency and deliver features for UI applications with high unit test coverage using Jest and React Testing Library and logging to Splunk in adherence with company standards. Champion reusability, best practice component design and execution, and accessibility (a11y) within the business while acting as a primary contributor. Engage security engineering for testing and compliance with security controls. Analyze emerging software engineering technologies/industry trends — Service Workers, React Lazy, Suspense, Intersection Observers, Web Components, etc. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related and five (5) years of experience as an application developer, software engineer, programmer, or related

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
