What you'll do here:
  • Develop and implement marketing plans that align with Cengage's goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results through alignment
  • Analyze market trends and determine strategic opportunities
  • Implement and manage innovative marketing strategies
  • Support internal and external communications through technology
  • Provide effective support to the marketing team to help achieve objectives
Skills you will need here:
  • BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in market analysis and strategy development
  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on responsiveness
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Positive, collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Passion for digital education and positive customer outcomes
  • Experience with B2B and B2C marketing
  • Ability to lead cross-functional or group projects
  • Experience optimizing and automating marketing processes and campaigns
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Multiple years of experience in marketing roles
  • Practical experience with eCommerce and online customer acquisition strategies
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Pardot, Amplitude, Google Analytics, and WordPress
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and email service platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of government education funding
  • Experience delivering campaigns across a variety of marketing channels
  • Experience using AI tools to support marketing and other professional functions
  • Channel marketing experience
  • Product marketing experience

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

In this position,  you will be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program.  This position's bonus target amount, which is not guaranteed and is dependent on individual performance and overall company results among other factors, is provided below.  

5% Annual: Individual Target
$52,000.00 - $83,200.00 USD
