We are seeking a Content Specialist to join our marketing team. This role will primarily support KKR's insurance business, Global Atlantic, while also contributing to content initiatives across the broader firm. 
This is an ideal role for a strong financial communicator with exceptional writing and editing skills who enjoys finding creative ways to repurpose, atomize, and adapt content for different audiences, channels, and formats. This candidate will apply AI and emerging technologies to enhance content creation, marketing workflows, and use data to measure and optimize audience engagement. This individual will also help define and scale AI-enabled content practices across the marketing organization, identifying opportunities to improve how content is created, reused and distributed.

The successful candidate enjoys writing a range of content from thought leadership to product marketing and social media posts. In addition to creating content, this individual will work with editorial leads to shape content strategy by determining how information should be positioned, packaged, and distributed to achieve business and marketing objectives.

This position will be based in our Boston, Hartford, or Des Moines office.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling marketing content and messaging to support KKR's insurance business, including variable, fixed, and fixed index annuity products, while contributing to broader firmwide content initiatives as needed.
  • Develop B2B and B2C content across multiple channels, including web, email, social media, video, presentations, thought leadership, sales enablement materials, and print.
  • Partner with product marketing, sales, investment professionals, designers, and other stakeholders to develop content that supports strategic marketing and business objectives.
  • Help define and scale AI-enabled content practices by identifying opportunities to incorporate generative AI into content development, editorial workflows, and marketing processes.
  • Apply digital content best practices, including SEO/AEO, email optimization, subject lines, calls to action, and channel-specific content strategies to improve engagement and performance.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, style, tone, and brand voice across all content and marketing initiatives.
  • Write and edit a variety of content formats, including articles, web copy, video scripts, presentations, executive messaging, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to ensure content accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or English.
  • 7+ years marketing copywriting experience, minimum of 4 + years in the financial services industry, preferably annuity.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to write both engaging short-form content (emails, sales aids, short articles) and longer-form articles
  • Demonstrated use of AI and workflow tools
  • “Student of the business” who is always seeking to learn more
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with senior leadership.
  • Ability for occasional travel.

This is the expected annual base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.  Base Salary Range - $115,000 to $120,000
