Job Description

About the Role

The Associate Director, Payer Marketing will serve as a critical business partner to drive and support various corporate, brand and market access initiatives. This role will lead the development and execution of payer marketing strategies/tactics to secure, maintain and drive optimal access for the products.

What You’ll Do

•    Lead the development and implementation of payer tactics and pull through resources

•    Work with cross-functional commercial partners to develop account-specific tactical recommendations (based upon customer type, business needs and competitive landscape) that maximize profitable, timely access and pull-through

•    Lead execution with the Market Access National and Regional account teams on tactical plans aligned to organizational and brand strategies.

•    Execute on key tactics/approaches for key payer channels (e.g., government, commercial)

•    Partner with Data Analytics to deliver market insights that inform payer strategies, tactics and promotional plans

•    Execute on market research needs/gaps (e.g. Advisory Boards)

•    Serve as market access point-of-contact on cross-functional brand teams.  Drive ongoing cross-functional collaboration and market access representation

•    Maintain alignment with the reimbursement marketing team in support of access and pull-through objectives

•    Represent Market Access at Legal, Medical, and Regulatory review meetings

•    Actively manage the payer marketing budget, the agency of record and other vendors as needed.

*This role is Hybrid based out of Cambridge, MA and requires 3 days a week onsite

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

•    7+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharma industry experience, minimum 3 years in  payer/reimbursement/patient services space preferred

•    Demonstrated understanding of payer market dynamics as it relates to commercialization, pricing, reimbursement, and access

•    Track record of developing and executing on pull-through plans (specific to payers)

•    Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive projects forward, establish budgets and timelines

•    Strong interpersonal skills - builds relationships by identifying common goals and engaging in a transparent, trust-building manner

•    Heightened ability to collaborate, influence, and work with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver results 

•    Experience of managing multiple demands and priorities on time and under business constraints

Preferred Skills

•    Experience in Multiple Sclerosis, Neuropsych and/or Immunology, and their market access landscape
