Job Description

The Associate Director, Market Access Analytics, is a senior individual contributor within Insights & Analytics, exclusively dedicated to partnering with Sobi North America’s Market Access teams. Reporting to the Director, Field Excellence & Market Access Analytics, this role serves as the analytics thought partner for payer, channel, and patient access performance across Sobi’s product portfolio.

This position is responsible for translating complex access, channel, and patient journey data into actionable insights that enable decision-making by market access leaders and field-based teams. The Associate Director will guide development of market access KPIs, lead analytics initiatives across core access domains, and ensure delivery of executive-ready insights through standardized reporting, dashboards, and business reviews.

The role is highly collaborative, analytically rigorous, and hands-on, requiring a deep understanding of U.S. market access dynamics, strong business acumen, and the ability to clearly articulate performance drivers, risks, and opportunities to guide strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Access Performance Analytics & KPI Framework: Own and evolve the market access KPI framework across payer access, contracting, channel performance and patient access ensuring consistent definitions and performance tracking.
  • Payer, Formulary & Coverage Analytics: Analyze formulary positioning, payer policy trends, covered lives, utilization management; translate access challenges into clear, strategic guidance to leadership and field teams.
  • Contracting, Rebate & Channel Performance Analytics: Assess contracting, rebate, channel mix, inventory, specialty pharmacy / 3PL performance; identify execution risks, pull-through gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Patient Journey & Affordability Analytics: Evaluate patient activation, access friction, abandonment trends, copay performance and program effectiveness to inform access and affordability strategies.
  • Dashboard Ownership & Reporting Enablement: Own front-end design and delivery of market access dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau, partnering with Commercial Data Management on data architecture decisions and ensuring solutions meet analytic and business needs.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews & Insight Standardization: Lead standardized market access QBRs, including consistent narratives, visuals and performance storylines for internal and external stakeholder meetings.
  • Strategic Thought Partnership: Serve as the primary analytics advisor to Market Access and related teams, framing key business questions, guiding prioritization and delivering actionable insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across Field & Data Operations, Insights & Analytics, Field Excellence, Market Access Finance and external vendors to ensure consistent definitions, aligned methodologies and standardized reporting of market access metrics.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years biotech/pharma experience in consulting or analytics role.
  • At least 3+ years of dedicated experience in U.S Market Access analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of access-related datasets (e.g., MMIT, claims, specialty pharmacy, distribution, contracting data)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong intellectual curiosity.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly collaborative partner with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions through data.
  • Self-directed, accountable, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

Desired:

  • Experience working with Snowflake and/or writing SQL to support analytics initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with external vendors.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, etc.)

 

Travel:

Occasional travel to the office required.

The base salary range for this role is $150,000-$190,000. Each individual offer will be determined based on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, this role is eligible for both short-term and long-term bonuses, as outlined in the plan details.
