Job Overview

The Role: 

We are looking for an Associate Director, Accounts to join our rapidly growing team of college and youth marketing enthusiasts. As an Associate Director, Accounts, you will actively contribute to the success of client projects, playing a key role in all disciplines from strategic development to execution.  


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Exceptional understanding of each client’s business, marketing goals, and program objectives 
  • Apply marketing savvy and strategic thinking to solve unique business challenges for our clients  
  • Effortlessly partner and work cross-functionally with Next Gen Client Services, Production, Digital, and University Relations teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns  
  • Manage daily workflow and serve as the primary, day-to-day point of contact for clients 
  • Provide comprehensive reporting that clearly demonstrates program performance relative to campaign objectives 
  • Mentor direct reports to create best in class team. This includes, but not exclusive to, aligning on role clarify, professional development, goal setting and creating opportunities to grow within existing work 
  • Build and manage project-based budgets to achieve target profitability and ensure an efficient use of resources 
  • Identify areas of opportunity/organic growth within existing account base through real-time assessment of program performance, consumer insights and feedback, and regular dialogue with client contacts 
  • Compile relevant qualitative and quantitative program data that clearly demonstrates program performance relative to campaign objectives 
  • Support New Business development through participation in agency brainstorms, sales operations, and budgeting exercises 
  • Positively contribute to agency culture by maintaining team morale and providing professional development paths for team(s) 
  • Perform other duties, as assigned 

Qualified candidates is/has: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field 
  • 4 - 7 years of related work experience, ideally an agency setting and with field marketing programs
  • People-centric with outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills 
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive and stay organized in a high energy environment
  • Self-starter with experience balancing business acumen with creativity
  • Creative thinker that is willing to travel ‘outside of the box’ for the right solution(s)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools (Asana, SharePoint, Workday, etc.) a plus

Base salary range: $85,000-105,000, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. 

 
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
