USA Job Family Description: Designs, influences, implements and monitors the strategies for communicating the company's vision, values and business strategy. Administers and plans communications to engage employees on strategic business imperatives and organizational direction. Identifies, synthesizes, and articulates the company's perspective and issues accurately to stakeholders, including employees, customers, the news media, and shareholders. Provides ongoing support and communication advice to company leadership to ensure consistency and alignment with established organizational principles, business objectives and media strategies.
USA Job Function Description: Develops, reviews and delivers the company's internal communication strategies and key messages based on understanding of the business and objectives. Ensures the communication strategies are implemented on time and within budget.
Responsible for writing, editing, formatting, and distributing publications targeting front-line colleagues and support teams; editing as necessary to better serve the internal audience and improve awareness and engagement.
Creates, manages, and implements internal communications plans for the line of business, provides editorial guidance as needed, for internal stakeholders across support teams and lines of business to ensure organizational readiness and employee engagement for initiatives, product launches, marketing campaigns, procedural/policy changes, etc. Acts as a gatekeeper for initiatives being communicated and launched to front-line colleagues ensuring they are streamlined, simplified and fit within capacity. Collaborates with Corporate Communications as necessary to ensure message alignment and maximize impact.
Provides ongoing support and communication advice to company leadership to ensure consistency and alignment with established organizational principles, business objectives and strategies. Ensures that employees can rapidly identify, send, receive and understand information that is clear, credible and relevant.
Develops, publishes and distributes a range of organizational, cultural and HR-related materials in traditional print form, electronically or through online technologies. Creates intranet content, newsletters, brochures, handbooks, and meeting materials.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
- The Associate will partner with the Manager, Communications to help plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively.
- Create and distribute business line communications such as Retail Ready, Urgent Messages, Branch Weekly Game Plan, and other types of informational communication in support of CBB’s Sales and Service Strategies.
- Develops materials, such as articles, presentations, and distribution lists for launches, campaigns and other product and service marketing initiatives.
- Streamline communication by writing, distributing, and coordinating internal newsletters and targeted communications.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to efficiently and accurately translate project needs into functional design and to ensure creative is in alignment with brand standards.
- Develop tactical plans for quarterly campaigns focusing on a simple set of behaviors, routines and tools.
- Maintain a strong connection to ongoing execution in the field, be proactive to needs and opportunities by developing a structured execution plan for all deliverables within demanding time constraints.
- Inspects materials for quality, completeness, accuracy and alignment with established brand standards and internal policies.
- Tracks effectiveness of communications programs and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Ensures adherence to brand standards and internal policies.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a equivalent field. Req
Work Experience:
- 5+ Years Communications Development Required
- 5+ Years Experience of CMS systems such as Wordpress and Drupal, Photoshop, InDesign and video editing is required. Required
- 5 years of Consumer Banking Experience preferred

- Demonstrated ability to apply a wide variety of communication techniques to deliver constructive feedback to subordinates, peers, and management
- Ability to create effective messaging for specific audiences, and consolidate contributions and feedback from multiple sources
- Demonstrated ability to allow objective judgment and discretion as necessary
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet time line constraints/deadlines
- Flexibility to manage changing requirements and short timelines
- Ability to multi-task and possesses excellent prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply conflict resolution techniques to successfully overcome differing viewpoints
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and possessing a positive attitude
- Demonstrated excellent written/oral communications, research and proofreading skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
- Self-motivated, good organizational and interpersonal skills, and detail-oriented individual who can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:
$71,250.00 USD
Maximum:
$115,000.00 USD
