Role Description

We are seeking an expert strategic leader to drive business, operations, and technology transformation for our Industrials, Consumer, and Energy sector customers' C-suite and Board of Directors. This role acts as a trusted advisor, leading account planning, presales, and collaborating with industry experts to define forward-looking strategies.

You will be responsible for coordinating technology adoption and consumption, managing customer relationships, service delivery, and CSAT. The ideal candidate will have a diverse IT and/or Management Consulting background with deep knowledge of industry and current market trends. You must be able to craft innovative strategies, define the clear path forward, and own changes to IT strategy, governance, and processes. Critical to success is acting as the voice of the customer to ensure broad adoption of Salesforce technologies that drive customer efficiency, cost savings, and quick innovation.

Your Core Responsibilities and Impact

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deal & Strategy Leadership: Actively participate in the pursuit of large deals, collaborating cross-functionally (Sales, Success, Support, etc.) to align deliverable scope, team, pricing, and contracts with customer objectives.

  • Executive Client Management: Serve as the primary communication point up to the CxO level, managing expectations, governance, and issue resolution throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Delivery & Contract Oversight: Accountable for supervising end-to-end service delivery, ensuring all contractual commitments are met, and managing necessary scope changes.

  • Risk & Team Management: Anticipate, mitigate, and lead risks to both the customer and Salesforce. Effectively lead, mentor, and develop the engaged Professional Services delivery team.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive necessary entrepreneurial changes informed by deep industry and product expertise to achieve customer outcomes. Contribute to the continued development of internal processes and methodologies.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years experience leading enterprise-level technology transformation programs at Fortune 500 companies

  • 15+ years of relevant consulting experience in professional services, including business development, management of client relationships and delivery oversight

  • Experience with Salesforce products/platform

  • Experience working with enterprise customers to understand and solve their most pressing business challenges

  • Knowledge of the concepts, practices, procedures, and deliverables associated with system development, implementation, and operational readiness

  • Knowledge of technical competence to work with technical teams to develop comprehensive operational plans and address technical issues

  • Significant experience leading C-suite relationships at customers

  • Experience working on pursuit teams and participating in the proposal development process

  • Travel up to 50% 

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $195,860 to $262,010.
