POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Associate Advisor, Personal Insurance (Inside Sales) will work to gain knowledge of personal lines insurance to successfully gain technical and sales knowledge. As an Associate Advisor, you will begin with an in-depth training program and will have exposure to existing clients with the opportunity to be mentored by experienced Advisors.
  • With our competitive products, provided leads, top notch sales software, and our elite training program you will be set up for success.

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • This is a base pay plus commission 
  • Sales positions with warm leads provided
  • Flexible remote, hybrid, or on site – Need to reside in MA, RI, CT, ME, VT, or NH
  • Hours are M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
  • W-2 position with benefits and 401K plus 45 shares of stock options as a sign on bonus with opportunity to earn additional equity

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Through training you will be responsible for growing your own book of business with the leads provided
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery
  • Participate in sales meetings to review sales activities and effective rounding efforts
  • Develop a full working knowledge of personal lines products and procedures
  • Present proposals in a professional manner, reviewing coverages in detail to ensure understanding
  • Maintains an understanding and knowledge of the insurance industry and underwriting criteria for Insurance Company Partners represented by the firm to effectively communicate to all involved

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required; Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others
  • Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture

TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, AND SYSTEM-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • None
