The Assistant Account Executive will work a hybrid schedule (after 90 days) from our office in Worcester, MA. 

The Assistant Account executive assists with the handling and placement of both new and renewal insurance policies. When underwriting new and renewal business, account executive valuates the exposures of a given risk and determines the best market for both premium and coverage. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Compares coverages & policy language for placement of new & renewal business
  • Underwrites new business & existing renewals to determine carrier acceptability & competitive pricing
  • Review submissions & provide decisions on which markets to access for various types of coverage
  • Rates & prepares insurance quotes
  • Prepares complex insurance submissions for brokerage markets
  • Maintains strong product knowledge

Requirements: 

  • Experience in Customer Service or other related support position
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
