As the Senior Inventory Planner for WHOOP’s Apparel & Accessories department, you will own forecasting, inventory strategy, and buy planning across a diverse and fast-growing product portfolio. You’ll partner closely with Product Marketing, Finance & Supply Chain to ensure optimal inventory positioning for new launches, core programs, and seasonal collections. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise with a strategic mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead forecasting, demand planning, and inventory strategy across the A&A portfolio to achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align inventory plans with marketing calendars, launch timelines, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Develop data-driven buy strategies that balance product availability, inventory health, and financial goals across core and seasonal assortments.
  • Analyze inventory positions and SKU performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; recommend and execute corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in Open-to-Buy (OTB) discussions with FP&A, delivering insights on inventory positions, on-order, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on lead times, MOQs, and production schedules to ensure supply readiness and alignment to demand.
  • Optimize replenishment and distribution strategies to ensure products are in the right place at the right time to meet customer demand.
  • Drive process improvement and scalability through enhanced reporting, planning tools, and cross-functional communication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory or demand planning within a consumer goods, apparel, or accessories business.
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-category portfolios and influencing business decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with a strong grasp of retail math and forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and planning or analytics platforms; familiarity with AI forecasting tools a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to partner effectively across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Based in Boston, MA, or willing to relocate to WHOOP’s headquarters.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 - $155,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training. 

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
