$100,000.00 and $150,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS NECN
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Television news anchoring - 3+ years, Television news reporting - 5+ years
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field; or comparable television work experience
- Technical Skills: Video editing, still photography, social media marketing
- Skills: Reporting and anchoring
- Abilities: Managing multiple priorities effectively, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
- Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community
- Schedule: Work different shifts or longer shifts due to "breaking news" and severe weather emergencies and able to work weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license for authorized driving in the state of residence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a 24-hour news channel
Working Conditions
- Works inside in a climate-controlled environment but may be assigned to field duties and be subjected to various weather conditions that could include extreme heat or cold conditions.
