About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Implementation Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of tracking and instrumentation across multiple digital products, ensuring data integrity and visibility from front-end tagging to data pipelines. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to implement robust and scalable solutions that drive data-informed decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who loves working at the intersection of engineering and analytics, with a strong understanding of event tracking, data architecture, and digital measurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain event-based tracking using tools like Google Tag Manager, RudderStack, or similar platforms.
- Use JavaScript and browser debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) to validate tags and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with developers, marketers, and analysts to define and execute data collection strategies that are aligned with business needs.
- Build and maintain tracking documentation and implementation guides for cross-team visibility.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data accuracy issues, ensuring clean and reliable analytics pipelines.
- Support integration between tagging systems and data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake.
- Optimize data flow across tracking systems, pipelines, and BI tools.
Must-Have:
- 4+ years of experience in analytics implementation, digital analytics engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience with browser tools like Chrome DevTools for debugging and tag validation.
- Hands-on experience with GTM, RudderStack, or other tagging/tracking platforms.
- Experience with event-based tracking, data instrumentation, and analytics QA processes.
- Familiarity with data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake) and building or supporting data pipelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CDPs (Customer Data Platforms) like Segment, mParticle, or similar.
- Understanding of GA4, BigQuery, or SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with privacy compliance and consent management tools (e.g., OneTrust, Cookiebot).
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
