In this role, you will:
- Own strategic insight domains by developing a deep, end to end understanding of operational systems, demand drivers, cost structures, and constraints, and by continuously refining the questions analytics should answer to support leadership priorities.
- Translate operational insights into decision ready implications, synthesizing performance, risk, and tradeoffs so leaders can balance service, cost, growth, and experience when making operational and strategic choices.
- Lead critical strategic analyses such as workforce and capacity planning, scenario modeling, and performance diagnostics, integrating uncertainty and judgment into clear options for senior leaders.
- Apply systems thinking at scale, identifying early signals and articulating how changes in volume, mix, policy, or process design create both opportunities and risks across Operations, experience, and cost structures.
- Influence executive decisions through clear, structured narratives that integrate data, context, and judgment, including when insights challenge entrenched perspectives or preferred outcomes.
- Elevate team capability and partnership effectiveness by mentoring others on problem framing, insight storytelling, and executive communication, and by serving as a trusted advisor to Operations leaders and Internal Business Partners.
The Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or business analytics roles supporting operational or strategic decision-making.
- 8+ years of experience within the insurance or financial services industry, with demonstrated exposure to Operations and experience connecting operational performance to broader business outcomes.
- 5+ years experience in SQL and experience using analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or comparable technologies to explore, analyze, and communicate data.
- 5+ years experience translating complex analyses into clear implications and recommendations for senior, non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree is required

- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, framing problems and determining analytical approaches without predefined direction.
- Demonstrated mastery in one or more operational domains, with experience extrapolating insights into financial, pricing, or advisor-related implications.
- Experience leading high-impact, ambiguous initiatives where outcomes depended on judgment, prioritization, and influence rather than technical execution alone.
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to explain how changes in one part of Operations create downstream impacts across people, process, technology, and demand.
- Demonstrates strong executive presence and a proven ability to influence senior leaders by delivering clear recommendations, framing scenarios effectively, and communicating through concise storytelling.
- Experience designing and evolving forecasting, staffing, or scenario-planning frameworks that support ongoing decision-making rather than one-time analyses.
- Proven record of enhancing team performance through informal leadership, mentoring peers, and promoting shared standards for analysis and storytelling.
