The Opportunity
As an AI Data Scientist Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice, focusing on transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth. You will leverage advanced analytics and statistical techniques to extract insights from large datasets, enabling informed decision-making and solving complex business problems. As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring your team to deliver quality results. You will be responsible for coaching and managing performance to meet client expectations, while embracing technology and innovation to improve delivery.
In this role at PwC, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will analyze and identify the interactions within complex systems, partnering with team leadership to maintain quality and timelines. Your growing business knowledge will help identify opportunities that contribute to the firm's success. Responsibilities
- Leading data science initiatives to transform raw data into actionable insights for informed decision-making
- Guiding teams in the application of advanced analytics and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems
- Developing and implementing data models and algorithms to enhance predictive capabilities
- Overseeing the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and data lakes to support large-scale data processing
- Utilizing machine learning and deep learning techniques to drive innovation and improve data-driven strategies
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth
- Coaching team members to enhance their skills in data science workflows and troubleshooting
- Validating data quality and integrity within analytics frameworks to support reliable insights
- Encouraging the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies in data science projects
- Managing project timelines and deliverables to align with client expectations and business objectives
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Project/Technology Management, Risk Management/Insurance
- Applies statistical analysis, machine learning, data preparation, experimentation, and model evaluation techniques to develop and validate AI/ML solutions
- Utilizing Python, data science libraries, model validation methods, and modern AI/ML approaches, including generative AI where relevant, to communicate actionable insights to business and technical stakeholders
- Demonstrating proficiency in data science algorithms and workflows
- Utilizing machine learning and deep learning techniques effectively
- Excelling in complex data analysis and predictive modeling
- Managing data pipelines and confirming data quality
- Leveraging programming languages for data engineering tasks
- Embracing change and fostering innovation in data science projects
The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $252,450. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $297,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
