Own and prioritize the product backlog, define product goals, align stakeholders to outcome-based roadmaps and OKRs, and drive AI product strategy. Translate initiatives into actionable backlog items, evaluate build/buy/partner decisions for AI capabilities, and ensure responsible AI principles are embedded into products.
As a Product Owner, you are accountable for maximizing product value by clearly defining, prioritizing, and communicating Product Backlog items. You serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring alignment between business goals, stakeholder needs, and delivery execution while enabling Agile teams to deliver high-value outcomes. Additionally, you play a critical role in driving AI-powered transformation, embedding intelligent capabilities into products and processes to unlock new business value.
Responsibilities:
- Define, own, and continuously communicate a compelling Product Goal aligned with business objectives
- Translate strategic initiatives into clear product direction and actionable backlog items
- Partner with Product Executives to align with Outcome-Based Roadmaps and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
- Drive AI product strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage machine learning, generative AI, and automation to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
- Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions for AI capabilities and platforms
- Ensure responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, accountability) are incorporated into product vision
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience required.
- 6 or more years’ experience as a Product Owner with Agile facilitation background, working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
- Ability to write clear precise Scrum user stories for scrum teams
- Must have a bias for action and be comfortable in an ever changing or ambiguous environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum@Scale
- Product Innovation, Design thinking and/or CX/UX experience is a plus
- Advanced Agile/ Scrum development background
- Familiarity in working in a SaaS environment
- PSM/PSPO OR SAFe POPM certifications preferred
