About This Role

We are looking for an AI Enablement Lead to lead AI adoption across every department at Arkestro. You will run the Arkestro AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) day to day, build with the dedicated department positions, coach a cross functional champions network, and fan every win out to everyone through the centralized system. Your charter is universal adoption with measured business value behind it. This is an influence role, not a control role: you build with the dedicated few, champions spread it, and everyone wins. Build once at the center; land it in every function.

Responsibilities
  • Own company wide AI adoption end to end: awareness, training, activation, and measured business value in every department
  • Run the AI Center of Excellence operating cadence: champions network, office hours, intake, prioritization, and the adoption scoreboard
  • Recruit, coach, and support at least one champion in every department, with protected time, and grow the bench behind them
  • Run cross functional AI pods: pair yourself or an AI proficient engineer with a department subject matter expert in a ten day sprint that ships a measured before and after result
  • Train through the layers: an AI fluency foundation for everyone, deeper training for dedicated positions and champions, so each layer lifts the next
  • Own the shared skills library and its distribution pipeline with Engineering: build once, publish once, and every channel receives it
  • Instrument adoption and outcomes: workflows converted, hours returned, and dollar impact; report monthly to executive staff
  • Manage the AI tooling portfolio and spend against budget caps; evaluate vendors and retire tools that do not earn their keep
  • Publish wins with numbers in shared channels; every showcased win recruits the next builder
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years in engineering, operations, or enablement roles:
    • including 2+ years leading adoption of a platform or practice across an organization
    • Including 1+ year in the last 2 years directly building, leading, influencing AI at the company level
  • Hands on builder: you script, call APIs, and wire automations yourself, and you have shipped AI workflows that other people now depend on
  • Proven training and facilitation skill: you have taught both technical and non technical audiences and can show the adoption curve that followed
  • Relentless resourcefulness with AI: where others clean one spreadsheet, you build the pipeline that cleans every tracker before the team wakes up
  • High empathy operator: you thrive dropping into any department, learning its workflow, and earning trust fast
  • Evidence of measured outcomes: you can point to before and after numbers you produced, not just activities you ran
Bonus Qualifications
  • Forward deployed engineering experience at an AI lab, consultancy, or product company
  • Procurement, supply chain, or B2B SaaS domain experience
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks such as ISO 42001, the NIST AI RMF, and SOC 2
  • Experience standing up a center of excellence or a champions program
Pay Range
$150,000$185,000 USD

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
