AI Architect / Technical Lead - AWS / React

We currently have a career opportunity for an AI Architect to join our team located in United States. This role is remote with 25-30% travel.

Technical Architect / Lead Technical Consultant will lead the architecture, design, and hands-on implementation of a next-generation cloud-native intelligent call routing platform built on AWS. The solution will leverage communications services, AI-powered decisioning, and Conversational AI capabilities to intelligently connect customers with the most appropriate agents based on skills, business priorities, customer attributes, and real-time operational conditions. The ideal candidate combines deep architecture expertise with strong hands-on development skills and the ability to engage directly with clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.

• Lead architecture, design and implementation of cloud-native intelligent routing solutions; Define API, integration and event-driven architecture patterns.

• Provide hands-on development using Node.js, Python, React and microservices technologies.

• Architect and implement AWS solutions utilizing Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, EventBridge, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, RDS, CloudWatch and IAM. 

• Design Conversational AI and intelligent routing solutions leveraging TaskRouter, Voice APIs and programmable communications platforms.

• Conduct architecture reviews, mentor engineering teams and build proofs of concept.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and lead technical workshops. 

• 10+ years of software engineering, architecture and enterprise application development experience.

• 5+ years designing and implementing AWS solutions; strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, Python, React and API development.

• Proven experience with TaskRouter, Voice APIs, Studio and programmable contact center platforms. 

• Experience implementing AI/ML, Conversational AI or Generative AI solutions.

• Deep understanding of cloud-native, microservices, serverless, API-led and event-driven architectures.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership skills. 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
• Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be open to travel.

Preferred Skills and Education:

Master’s degree in computer science or related field

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $133,600 to $173,600.
