We have an exciting opportunity for an Agile Business Analyst to be responsible for investigating, documenting, and delivering process and technology solutions to complex business problems as part of an agile development team. You will evaluate technologies, create documentation based on conversations with stakeholders, and interface development to clarify requirements. This opportunity will help create long-term value through frictionless service. (This is a remote work opportunity)
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Business Analysis – Drive frictionless service via thoughtful deployment of technology
Gather, analyze, document, and validate process and technology requirements from business stakeholders
Serve as conduit between business and technology team members to facilitate efficient communication and delivery
Consult with the business and product owners to prioritize and shape the product backlog, using Agile practices for prioritization around business value; assist with JIRA administration to enable Agile across the firm
Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional areas related to the product team
Agile product team – Lead and support proactive adoption of agile process
Help lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, scrum, demos, and retrospectives
Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset
Evaluate and provide feedback on agile adoption within the team and organization
Facilitate cross-functional communication to eliminate knowledge gaps
Mentor Business Analysts from other product teams as Agile is adopted firm-wide
Subject Matter Expertise – Build expertise working with one of various product teams
Put past experience to use working on a team that matches interests
Work with many areas of the business to understand how each is intertwined and create a backlog of user stories to support seamless processes
Support change management with effective communication to end users and the centralized training team
Work with newly acquired firms to understand and document their needs within the broader context of the transitioning to WEG’s technology platform
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business; finance, economics, technology or related
2+ years in Financial Services or equivalent experience
2+ years BA, Development, or other related technology experience preferred
Experience with Agile development preferred
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Orion, Tamarac

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified for this level is $79,200.00 to $110,000.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
