The Role

We’re seeking an Agency Partner Manager to take our growing agency partner program to the next level. In this role, you’ll guide agencies through every stage of the partner journey, from prospecting and activation to expansion and long-term growth, with a focus on driving sourced revenue and deepening relationships with our key agency partners. With a strong foundation of engaged partners, a healthy pipeline of pre-activation agencies, and a rapidly growing partner program, you’ll have the opportunity to build on this momentum and help the partner team scale to the next level.

At Further, Radical Ownership isn’t just a value, it’s one of our five cultural pillars and the way we win together. It means stepping beyond your role, taking full accountability, and doing what it takes to deliver results. Alongside Radical Ownership, our pillars of treasuring our customers, valuing continuous growth, pursuing excellence, and acting with urgency shape how we work and the kind of impact you’ll make here.

What You’ll Own
  • Manage the partner lifecycle from first activation through expansion and maturity.

  • Build, nurture, and strengthen relationships with existing partners across our partner ecosystem to continue growth.

  • Oversee a portfolio of pre-activation and growth agency partners, using your skills as a partner pro to expand their adoption of Further and overall success as a partner.

  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to move partner-sourced opportunities effectively down the funnel.

  • Develop product expertise to become a trusted advisor who can confidently represent Further.

  • Contribute to program development and strategy by sharing partner feedback, market insights, and ideas for expansion.

What You’ll Bring
  • At least 2 years of experience in partnerships (agency, channel, or strategic alliances).

  • A start-up mentality: thrives in ambiguity, scrappy in driving results, and comfortable defining your own path.

  • Background in sales or customer success, with proven ability to build trust and influence outcomes.

  • Evidence of successfully moving partnerships or client relationships from 0→1 activation.

  • Outgoing, personable, and a natural communicator who enjoys presenting and connecting with people.

  • High energy, collaborative, and motivated by working with a team that values kindness, relationships, and impact.

Bonus Points
  • Experience in agency partner management at a SaaS company.

  • Demonstrated ability to refresh or scale partner enablement content (decks, one-pagers, case studies).

  • A track record of contributing to program design or process improvements.

Further’s Cultural Pillars
  • We treasure our customers

  • We value continuous growth

  • We pursue excellence in everything we do

  • We act with a sense of urgency

  • We take radical ownership

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
