Admin is responsible for investigation of newly reported Workers Compensation claims, including determining compensability/liability and whether it meets the criteria to be transferred to an Analyst. This position supports Analysts/Specialists/Managers.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. This position can be based in one of our offices located in Quincy, MA, and Carlisle, PA.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Conducts investigations on assigned Workers Compensation Med Only claims, determines coverage, creates action plans for resolution, evaluates financial exposure and sets appropriate reserves.
- Effectively communicates with local management and outside professionals.
- Maintains confidentiality of information and records.
- Develop a working knowledge of banner policies and procedures.
- Supports adjusters by researching and gathering necessary documentation for claims.
- Supports adjusters by updating claims files with correspondence and notes.
- Supports projects assigned by Manager as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in an insurance or self-insured environment.
- Knowledge of medical, legal, insurance and claims terminology.
