NOBULL is seeking an Accountant to join their growing Finance & Accounting department. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and support the accounting team in month-end closings, journal entry preparation, and general ledger reconciliations. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing cash reconciliations, managing fixed assets and prepaid expenses, and assisting with financial audit preparation. The ideal candidate will have a mix of public or private accounting experience, and be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to be part of a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Book accounting entries, including general journal, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Enter daily/weekly/monthly recurring and adjusting entries
  • Assist with the preparation of timely and complete financial statements
  • Gather information for the corporate annual reports
  • Prepare workpaper information for external auditors
  • Prepare work papers to comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Assist Accounting Manager, Controller, and HR with processing bi-weekly and 1099 monthly payroll
  • Support cross-functional teams while promoting adherence to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
  • Other duties as requested by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field 
  • 1-3 years of professional accounting experience
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP 
  • NetSuite or other accounting system experience highly desired
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Highly adaptable to and motivated by change
  • Exceptional ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent communication and writing skills required
  • Self motivated and hands-on, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Advanced Excel skills
