Position Overview

Interdependence is seeking an Account Supervisor to join our growing Consumer team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in public relations, thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, and is passionate about driving creative, results-oriented campaigns for leading consumer brands. This role is perfect for a highly organized and collaborative professional who can balance day-to-day execution with strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and execute integrated PR campaigns across earned, owned, and influencer channels with precision and creativity.

  • Act as the primary client contact, delivering strategic guidance and fostering strong relationships with consumer brand clients.

  • Drive media relations, including proactive pitching, curating targeted media lists, and cultivating lasting media connections.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic campaign planning, client presentations, and comprehensive performance reporting.

  • Guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring exceptional quality and timeliness of deliverables.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, news, and competitive landscapes to shape proactive media strategies and client recommendations.

  • Manage event logistics, product launches, media briefings, and press trips with seamless coordination.

  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, presenting actionable insights and key metrics to clients.

  • Contribute to new business development through research, media audits, and compelling proposal creation.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of public relations experience, ideally in an agency environment, with a strong focus on consumer brands.

  • Proven media relations expertise, demonstrated by securing high-impact, top-tier media placements.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines.

  • Experience mentoring or managing junior staff, fostering their growth and development.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented approach, thriving in a fast-paced team setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
