The Account Manager is responsible for exceeding sales objectives, developing relationships with key clients, and promoting Nokia's technology solutions in the Pacific Northwest region.
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Sales organization. This role will be instrumental in growing the Nokia brand within both existing and new white logo enterprise accounts in the Pacific Northwest.
You possess a hunter mentality and have a proven track record of technology sales including cultivating relationships and penetrating new logo accounts. You are an influencer and possess the ability to act as a trusted advisor to deliver business value to both end users and key business stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
- Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Nokia brand within a geographical area with strategic enterprise accounts.
- You will be responsible for utilizing a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and siloed legacy IT systems across the Nokia Network Infrastructure Portfolio with a focus on; Data Center solutions, Open Source Technologies, Network WAN Technologies, and Optical Transport.
- Meet with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present Nokia’s value proposition.
- Work with Nokia systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions that drive down the total cost of ownership.
- Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
- Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic territory business reviews.
- Conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns and workshops.
- Collaborate with Nokia peers on best practices and demonstrating best-in-class solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions and competitor strategies.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent in addition to 10+ years of technology sales experience.
- Must have strong personal network that covers relationships within the territory
- Proven track record of direct transactional relationships into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets
- Build and manage relationships with the right Nokia partners to deliver a holistic GTM model to help win deals and develop pipelines.
- Relevant data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industry background from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner or end user is a requirement.
- Excellent people skills, history of performance, grit, take ownership mentality, coachable and ability to build relationships at all levels
- The ability to thrive in a global matrix environment, where direct authority over key resources is limited but essential to success.
- Previous selling experience and technical acumen in one or more of the following areas; Data Center, Networking, Network Automation, Routing, Edge Computing, Hyper converged infrastructure or Cloud computing.
