We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Account Manager to join our Growth Team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success managing customer relationships, achieving revenue goals, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. The primary focus will be supporting and expanding customer relationships, meeting with key contacts to understand their priorities, ensuring value realization, and identifying opportunities to grow Hi Marley’s impact.
We thrive on teamwork and shared enthusiasm, which is why this role involves joining us in the office for two days each week.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Understand customers’ business objectives and help develop account plans that align with their goals and Hi Marley’s value.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering to execute account activities and ensure customer needs are met.
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders and understand their organizational structure to maximize engagement and adoption.
- Partner with the Customer team to ensure customers receive maximum value and support ongoing usage and renewals.
- Manage a defined book of business and carry a sales quota, focusing on retention and expansion opportunities in collaboration with senior team members and leadership.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of account plans, pipeline, and activities within the CRM system.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings relevant to Hi Marley’s customers.
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and conferences to strengthen relationships and represent Hi Marley.
- Collaborate internally to provide feedback and insights that help improve our products, services, and customer experience.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in account management or customer-facing sales roles within SaaS or technology organizations.
- Experience selling in longer sales-cycle environments (6 mo.+)
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and achieve revenue goals or quotas.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong follow-through and accountability.
- Collaborative mindset — works effectively across teams to deliver results.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30–40%) to support customer relationships and account growth.
- Experience in Property & Casualty insurance is a plus.
