The Account Growth Manager primarily is responsible for selling Jenzabar Software, services, managed services and third-party partner products to existing Jenzabar clients while also retaining clients by increasing client satisfaction, product adoption and keeping clients informed about Jenzabar Products, strategies and vision. Additionally, they will help facilitate and coordinate deliverables (new application acquisitions, application upgrades, SSO implementations and Cloud system migrations) by ensuring project milestones are scoped, monitored and achieved within budget.

This person will primarily cover a territory of the Western half of the United States, and some international clients.

Essential Tasks

  • Execute sales strategies designed to achieve revenue goals and demonstrate consistent and predictable performance
  • Prepares growth/retention number(s) on a quarterly basis
  • Works collaboratively with Product Development, Product Lifecycle Consultants and Product Quality Analysts on customer sales, retention, relationships, satisfaction and upgrades
  • Work with Jenzabar Teams on developing Leads and pipeline of prospective clients
  • Develop grass roots marketing campaigns strategies to promote new and existing products
  • Demonstrates ability to build strong executive relationships and sell within traditional IT hierarchy as well as non-IT business units
  • Plans, prepares and coordinates all sales-related activities from executive presentations to product demonstrations
  • Maintains a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty with clients throughout and after the sale to ensure successful implementation and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Manage complex sales situations and large projects, influencing clients and defuse potential problems by using your knowledge of complex business challenges to identify solutions
  • Prepares and delivers proposals and contracts with the ability to negotiate standard and non-standard T&Cs
  • Manage multiple large scale, campus wide software implementation projects from contract signing to post go live
  • Work with Jenzabar Teams to prepare detailed project plans including resource allocations/tasks, deliverable dates and milestones required to deliver the project on time and within budget
  • Effectively negotiate timelines with customers
  • Work with Jenzabar Teams to schedule, prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and maintain open and timely communication
  • Provide a timely response to customer questions & requests
  • Practice continuous learning through self-guided reading and research of relevant business practices and strategies in higher education needs/expectations
  • Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Communicate information clearly, accurately, and timely to Jenzabar Teams and clients
  • Gain a sound understanding and knowledge of the client's requirements
  • Understand the client’s business processes as they relate to the software
  • Share knowledge and insights
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and drive measurable business outcomes when appropriate
  • Apply sound judgment and ethical standards when using AI, ensuring accuracy, data privacy, and responsible human-in-the-loop oversight
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • BS, BA Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years Sales experience – experience in Higher Education sales preferred
  • 1+ years Project Management experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate well with others
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Comfort level with evolving and ever-changing technology
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to functional end users
  • Strong problem-solving and software troubleshooting skills required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applications

The base pay range for this position is $53,000-$64,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an incentive plan as well as a full range of benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
