About VulnCheck

VulnCheck is transforming vulnerability intelligence by helping security teams act faster and with more confidence. Our platform delivers early, high-quality exploit intelligence, deep asset correlation, and contextual insights to help organizations stay ahead of emerging threats.

About the Role

We're looking for a Growth Account Executive (mid-market, commercial) based in Austin or Boston to join VulnCheck's fast-growing team. This is a high-velocity hunter role built for a seller who thrives on shorter sales cycles, strong outbound motion, and building pipeline from the ground up in an early-stage cyber company.

You'll focus on driving net-new revenue across mid-market and commercial accounts, expanding VulnCheck's footprint with security teams who need actionable vulnerability intelligence to stay ahead of threats.

What You’ll Do
  • Own a high-velocity book of mid-market and commercial accounts, with a relentless focus on net-new revenue.
  • Drive outbound prospecting and build pipeline through targeted outreach, partner collaboration, and inbound follow-up.
  • Manage a high volume of opportunities across multiple stages with accurate forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Lead the full sales cycle—from first contact through negotiation and close—with efficiency and urgency.
  • Build relationships with Vulnerability Management leaders, Security Engineers, SOC teams, and IT leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Marketing to tailor demos and messaging to prospect needs.
  • Act as a credible voice in vulnerability intelligence, helping prospects connect VulnCheck's capabilities to their real-world risk.
You might be a great fit if you:
  • Have 3+ years of sales experience in cybersecurity, with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Are energized by outbound prospecting and building pipeline from scratch.
  • Can run fast, efficient sales cycles while managing a high volume of active opportunities.
  • Are confident navigating procurement and negotiating contracts at the mid-market level.
  • Thrive in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments where the playbook is still being written.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively, both written and verbally.
  • Are comfortable with modern sales tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Qualifications (Required)
  • Experience selling within one or more of the following domains:
    • Attack Surface Management (ASM)
    • Vulnerability Management (VM)
    • Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage pipeline independently.
  • Experience selling into security organizations at the mid-market or commercial level.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability feeds, CVE scoring systems, or exploit intelligence.
  • Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams.
