Own the full sales cycle for an AI-powered corporate compliance platform, from self-sourced prospecting and discovery through demonstrations, negotiation, and close. Sell to General Counsel, CFOs, Corporate Secretaries, and compliance leaders while maintaining pipeline, activity, conversion, and quota metrics. Partner with BDRs as inbound demand grows, continue self-sourcing approximately one-third of pipeline, and travel for prospect meetings and industry events.

Our client is a fast-growing legal technology company using AI-powered automation to replace manual, error-prone corporate compliance workflows. Founded in 2019, the 47-person company has raised more than $33M from venture investors and six AmLaw 100 firms. It now partners with more than 40 AmLaw 300 firms and is challenging legacy providers in entity management, registered-agent services, and governance compliance.

We are hiring an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for an AI-powered corporate compliance platform. You will sell to senior decision-makers including General Counsel, CFOs, Corporate Secretaries, and compliance leaders. This is a high-ownership hunting role for someone who knows the entity-management market, can build pipeline without early inbound support, and can run specific, metrics-driven sales motions from prospecting through close.

What you'll do

• Build your own pipeline during the first 90 days and maintain a strong self-sourced prospecting motion

• Run the full sales cycle from discovery and product demos through negotiation and close

• Sell directly to General Counsel, CFOs, Corporate Secretaries, and compliance leaders

• Connect AI-powered automation to concrete entity-management and corporate-compliance pain points

• Partner with BDRs as qualified inbound volume grows while continuing to self-source approximately one-third of pipeline

• Track and communicate daily activity, pipeline coverage, conversion metrics, and deal progress with precision

• Travel for prospect meetings and industry events as needed

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of full-cycle closing experience in entity management, registered-agent services, governance, or corporate compliance

• Proven quota attainment and the ability to explain specific deal examples, metrics, and prospecting strategies

• Domain experience with companies such as CSC, CT Corporation, Wolters Kluwer, Harbor Compliance, LegalInc, or close competitors

• An active LinkedIn presence used for prospecting, ideally with at least 300 connections

• Startup or high-growth sales experience and comfort building pipeline before inbound support is established

• A collaborative, team-oriented approach to sales

• US work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

Bonus points

• Experience selling adjacent legal-information or legal-technology products at companies such as LexisNexis or Thomson Reuters

• Proficiency with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

• Experience selling to law firms, corporate legal teams, or governance and compliance leaders

• A track record of succeeding in a small, early-stage sales organization

Benefits

• Base salary of $75K-$90K, with flexibility up to $100K for exceptional candidates

• Target total earnings of $150K-$180K with uncapped commission

• Competitive equity

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage

• 401(k), generous paid time off, and a monthly technology stipend

• Remote within the United States

• Travel up to 20% for prospect meetings and industry events

• Full-time position with a collaborative, early-stage sales team

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
