The Account Executive drives market expansion, achieves sales targets, manages client relationships, analyzes market trends, and fosters customer satisfaction.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the Account Executive, is to drive the expansion of market share and mindshare, while achieving the Company’s annual sales targets within assigned territories. This role involves understanding clients' technology needs, promoting our Managed Services and VAR solutions, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Belize within the government and private sector in technology, and the ability to build and nurture relationships within local, in country clients.
Key Results Areas
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and new clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling technology solutions.
- Address prospect and client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Understand and anticipate client needs and implement appropriate long-term strategies.
- Grow business by expanding our footprints with new customers.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Responsible for building a solid pipeline for new logo clients.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for expanding customer base.
- Sell managed services and push digital adoption for new and existing customer portfolios.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.
- Leverage personal network and/or other networks to identify and pursue opportunities;
- Performance Metrics:
- Maintain and develop an active pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet monthly quota objectives while working through each opportunity with your manager.
- Identify sales prospects and provide accurate forecasts in Salesforce.com.
- Participate in training and professional development activities.
- Follow-up with customers on open proposals and action items from meetings.
- Analyze customers business needs,
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities, and develop strategies to ensure customer growth, satisfaction, and retention.
- Analyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed
Key Qualifications and Skills Required
- Exceptional interpersonal relationship and verbal skills, including phone and in-person presentation skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales
- Strong understanding of technology products and solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work autonomously and is self-disciplined
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong follow up skills and motivated to break into new accounts through continuous effort;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle.
