Natter harnesses the power of AI and video to give everyone a voice.

Built by a team of serial founders who pioneered the first AI and UX disruptors in the space, Natter is now looking for an Account Executive to open up the association market as part of our early GTM team.

Natter is already being used by some of the world’s largest companies and membership organizations, ranging from big four consultancies like Deloitte and Accenture, global enterprise organizations like ServiceNow and Mondelez, to hugely influential associations like American Bankers Association, ASAE, APPA and many more.

Natter’s conversational AI platform allows tens of thousands of users to simultaneously share ideas and feedback through real-time video conversations. Its uniquely scalable tech allows anyone with a smartphone to, literally, have a say on the most important decisions - ranging from workplace strategy to new product offerings.

We partner with some of the world’s largest and most complex enterprises (Fortune 500 and equivalent), and are currently growing our team from 30 to 60 employees.

LOCATION

Hybrid: Remote role preferably DC or Chicago based, with flexible, fluid work options that support in-person collaboration where it makes sense.

We’re committed to building a diverse team and welcome people from all backgrounds to apply. If you’re excited about this role and our mission but aren’t sure you meet every qualification, reach out anyway. You may be just the right candidate.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is not an incremental sales hire into an established motion. This is a GTM role in a blue-ocean market: taking a product already proven at enterprise scale into a sector built around giving members a voice. With great traction already.

As our Account Executive for Associations, you will:

  • Own uncapped commission selling to the largest membership organisations including national associations, professional societies and trade organizations

  • Build the playbook, process, and culture that will define our association sales motion as it scales

  • Work directly with association CEOs and Executive Directors, alongside Chief Membership, Learning, Research and Strategy Officers at the most influential member organizations in the country

  • Build out a new vertical for Natter. AI-powered conversation at scale is new to the association world, and you will be the person building its commercial foundations

  • Operate with founder-level autonomy: define the approach, own the outcomes, make your mark.

THE ROLE

We're seeking an Account Executive to drive new business with national associations, professional societies, trade organizations and large government agencies. You'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to closing complex deals with executive directors, C-suite leaders and boards. You will sell to a combination of membership, learning, research, events, advocacy and strategy leaders.

Associations exist to represent the voice of their members, and Natter lets them hear thousands of those members at once, in real time. You will be selling a product with proven Product Market Fit, already bought by the largest logos in their respective industries. Associations are a new and expanding market for us, so you will have the room to test new use cases, shape the offer and decide how we win in this sector.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the complete sales cycle for association accounts with contract values of $50K+

  • Identify and engage decision-makers at national associations, professional societies, and trade organizations

  • Conduct strategic discovery sessions to understand organizational challenges around member and employee engagement, learning, and internal communications

  • Build and present compelling business cases that demonstrate ROI and align Natter's platform with each organization's strategic priorities

  • Represent Natter at research events and industry conferences, including the major association gatherings

  • Navigate complex organizational structures, including boards, committees and volunteer leadership, and build consensus among multiple stakeholders

  • Develop and execute account-based strategies to penetrate target accounts

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoffs and client satisfaction

  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene in Salesforce/HubSpot/Attio

  • Stay current on trends in member and employee experience, workplace culture, and technology adoption across the association sector. You will become an expert in the market, developing a personal network of association executives and industry leaders

  • Travel regularly to meet clients in person, both across the US and internationally

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have a strong track record selling into large enterprise companies and/or associations and government agencies, ideally with experience building new territories or markets from scratch.

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, bonus points for experience in the association, membership, public affairs space

  • Existing relationships with, or experience selling to, senior leaders at professional associations, large government agencies and/or Fortune 500 companies is a plus

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota ($750K+ annual quota preferred)

  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to conduct executive-level discovery

  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Proficiency with modern sales tools (Attio, Clay etc.)
