Designs, develops, and maintains multi-site communications network infrastructure. Manages accounts on physical and virtual machines, troubleshoots hardware, software, and networking issues, builds virtual machines, administers Windows and Linux servers, and maintains system documentation, monitoring reports, and logs. The role also performs server hardening, backups, STIG and SCAP compliance activities, routing and switching, firewall integration, and requires an active Secret clearance at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ABAD Senior System Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to design, develop, and maintain multi-site communications networked infrastructure hardware. This position is located at Ramstein Air Base, Germany (International Assignment) *NO REMOTE WORK**
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage account creation and account administration on physical and virtual machines.
- Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Conduct virtual machine builds on physical server stacks.
- Document and maintain servers, create monitoring reports and logs, and ensure functionality of systems.
- Install and administer Windows and Linux servers.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related professional or associate's degree with 7+ relevant work experience or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Sec +, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in a System Administrator role
- Experience with virtualization
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewall configuration
- Understanding of STIG, SCAP, and RMF requirements
- Secret clearance is required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Creating Gold images and server backups with the appropriate OS hardening, leveraging the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Content Application Protocol (SCAP) scans
- Conducting routing and switching within a server enclave, and integration of firewalls
