Job Opportunities with The Academies by Harvard Student AgenciesPosition: On Campus Academies Instructor 
Location: Summer On-Campus
Commitment: 40 hours/week (June 1 - August 14)
Compensation: $37.50 per hour 
Programs Offered: Business, Coding, Government, Pre-Med, Economics
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate alongside co-instructors to teach a class of high-school aged students
  • Each Academies program is a week-long - you will likely be teaching new students every week
  • Class sizes vary by subject (capped at 30) and we target a student-instructor ratio of no more than 15:1
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons based on our provided curricula.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and facilitate them in creating a capstone project
  • Assist with program logistics if necessary
Qualifications:
  • Current Harvard undergraduate student
  • Passionate about education and working with students
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to commit to working for given program weeks
  • No prior teaching experience necessary!
