Leads complex, cross-product software programs from planning through delivery across engineering, product, security, and distributed teams. Coordinates dependencies, manages risks and escalations, presents status and trade-offs to executive stakeholders, applies Agile methodologies, and develops program management processes. The role also evaluates AI-native software development lifecycle impacts and builds or configures AI-powered tools for program monitoring and control.

Develop, operate, and scale Proofpoint’s production infrastructure across global data centers and public cloud. Responsibilities include deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, incident response, infrastructure architecture, automation, and security. The engineer will collaborate with product and engineering teams, investigate complex system and network issues, support product rollouts, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Manage up to 35 mid-market named accounts, developing account plans, expanding existing customer relationships, securing renewals, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Build relationships with executives and channel partners, sell complex cybersecurity solutions, deliver customer business reviews, create multiyear proposals, maintain accurate forecasts and Salesforce records, and meet revenue targets through prospecting, presentations, and value-based selling.

Lead the technical presales process for Proofpoint’s data security and insider risk solutions. Partner with sales teams, conduct technical discovery, design security architectures, and manage proof-of-concept and production evaluations. Present solutions to customers, support deployments and training, collaborate with Professional Services, Engineering, Product Management, and Support, and provide customer insights to improve products. The role also develops internal documentation, training, and repeatable sales engineering processes.

Manage 10–20 enterprise named accounts, develop account plans, identify expansion opportunities, sell cybersecurity solutions, and drive renewals. Build relationships with executive stakeholders and channel partners, deliver customer business reviews, create complex multiyear proposals, forecast accurately in Salesforce, and coordinate internal and external resources to exceed revenue targets.

Lead global presales engineering escalation, AI-driven workflow transformation, and field enablement. Build governance, intake systems, knowledge capture, and cross-functional advocacy to scale technical expertise, resolve complex escalations, and improve presales outcomes and access governance.
