Collaborate with engineers and product partners, write tested code, participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture, improve CI/CD and monitoring, support production (including on-call), and communicate progress while continuously learning.

Design, build, and operate scalable PostgreSQL databases and cloud-native data infrastructure. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize query and server performance, ensure high availability and disaster recovery, improve observability, troubleshoot production issues, guide schema and application design, evaluate database technologies, and mentor junior engineers to support reliable, secure data-driven applications.

Provide high-volume, frontline support via phone, live chat, and email for Patriot's payroll and accounting software. Troubleshoot customer issues, document interactions, relay feedback to product teams, and learn product and payroll fundamentals through an eight-week training program.
