One thing you won’t find at Nasuni is toxicity. “Nasuni does an incredible job of hiring good people,” said Victor Moitinho. While sales departments are often cutthroat and competitive at other organizations, Moitinho says his colleagues are true friends. Employees are seen as complete humans, with lives outside of work, and are supportive of one another. “Every person you reach out to is willing to help with a task,” Moitinho said.

Senior Software QA Engineer

Nupoor Nuwal is hyperfocused on improving the quality of the products she works on. “Fixing bugs, finding the issue and triaging them is one of the best parts of my job,” said Nuwal. As a senior quality assurance engineer, Nuwal spends her time building thorough test plans to meet her goals. But, on the occasions where she hits a dead end, she’s never alone. “On this team, everyone comes to help you when you are stuck or need help with anything,” she said. Her co-workers also share openly about the issues they are having, which contributes to a culture of transparency.

Remote employees are on equal footing

Mark Sliozis has been working remotely for Nasuni since 2016, and recently won the UniAward, a quarterly peer-nominated honor. “It’s special because it feels as though my contributions are making an impact and are appreciated, and being remote doesn’t put me at any sort of disadvantage,” he said. Over time, Nasuni has fine-tuned its approach to remote work and built a system where there is no upper hand to being in one of the five global offices. Thanks to this fair and flexible approach, work-life balance is more attainable for employees.
