Lumicell
Privately held medical-technology company Lumicell develops fluorescence-guided imaging technologies for cancer surgery. Its LumiSystem combines LUMISIGHT, an optical imaging agent, with Lumicell DVS, a fluorescence imaging device. Used during lumpectomy, the system helps surgeons detect residual cancer in the surgical cavity and support more complete resection. Lumicell is also exploring its optical imaging agent for further development across a wide variety of other solid-tumor indications.
