Since starting at Liberty, I’ve been exposed to a plethora of full-stack knowledge through working with mentors and peers. My managers always encourage me to experiment with new technologies because they want me to excel & truly care about my growth.

At Liberty, I’ve learned so much that has contributed to my overall growth. Not only have I learned new programming languages, better coding practices and how to construct high-end quality products, I’ve had access to trainings and mentorship that has allowed me to improve my skills and feel supported as I continue to grow in my career.

There are a variety of projects I’m excited about, but what excites me the most is the technology I’m using on a day-to-day basis. The cloud is the future, and I almost exclusively get to build applications that use the public cloud. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with bleeding edge technologies like AWS’ Cloud Development Kit (CDK)!

Through diversity of thought, engineering excellence & collaboration, our team’s innovation has yielded game-changing products. For example, we reduced the time needed for an engineer to introduce a new business solution by 95%. This influenced our investment in tech and made a positive impact on Liberty’s engineering community & business partners.

At Liberty, there are many perks and tools to recognize & reward your peers. In my role, I’m required to work with multiple teams in Europe and South America. Liberty makes it easy to collaborate with these teams through the technology. We’re also encouraged to celebrate and leverage our differences and perspectives to help achieve our collective goals.
