Health Effects Institute

Health Effects Institute is an independent nonprofit research organization focused on impartial science about the health effects of air pollution. It funds and supports policy-relevant studies, convenes independent experts to select, oversee, and review research, and brings together government, industry, academia, nonprofits, and communities to guide priorities. HEI synthesizes and communicates scientific evidence to help inform public and private decision-making on air quality and health.
