Designs and drafts electrical engineering plans using AutoCAD and Revit. Translates system concepts into floor plans, develops layouts, reviews technical product information, supports engineering concept development, coordinates with project teams, addresses design issues, organizes project documentation, and meets project deadlines. The role supports healthcare, commercial, higher education, and laboratory projects.

Designs and drafts information and communications technology systems, translating approved concepts into floor plans and technical documentation. Reviews product information, coordinates with vendors, architects, and engineering disciplines, verifies existing field conditions, supports engineering concepts, addresses design issues, and helps meet project schedules and deadlines.

The VDC Engineer coordinates building systems using BIM and VDC processes, identifies and prevents design clashes, manages project setup, facilitates BIM and quality-control meetings, and tracks clash reports. The role also trains design teams, advises leadership on VDC process implementation, supports strategic initiatives, and participates in industry presentations. Responsibilities require managing multiple projects independently and collaboratively while reading technical drawings, specifications, and building codes.
