Workhuman, a company specializing in employee recognition and engagement, has announced key leadership appointments to its team. Richard Maclachlan will serve as chief marketing officer and oversee the company’s global marketing team. Previously Maclachlan served as the company’s senior vice president, global head of marketing. In addition, Kevin Heinzelman has been promoted to senior vice president of product management. He’ll be responsible for streamlining operations and developing AI-driven models and use cases.
Alongside Maclachlan and Heinzelman, the company has brought on two new vice presidents: Shmulik Barel and Jose Malpartida. Barel has joined the company as vice president of product engineering where he’ll bring to bear his experience in several C-level roles across operations, engineering and product teams. Malpartida will serve as vice president of product management to develop Workhuman’s enhanced social recognition solutions. He previously held leadership roles at major enterprise companies including Amazon and Wayfair.
Workhuman’s software aims to foster cultures of gratitude, transparency and resiliency in workplaces worldwide. It recently introduced a generative AI assistant to its AI-powered social analytics solution, Workhuman iQ, which allows clients to access a knowledge base of their workforce without data analytics expertise. The company says these appointments demonstrate its commitment to leveraging emerging technologies for employee recognition and engagement solutions.
