Linus Karlsson, a seasoned creative leader with over three decades of experience, has been appointed as the new chief creative officer at SharkNinja.
Karlsson’s career includes time spent as chief creative officer for IKEA, where he oversaw the company’s creative strategy for product development and marketing. Before joining IKEA, he held prominent roles at top creative agencies, such as chairman and chief creative officer for McCann-Erickson’s global brands group. He also co-founded well-known creative services agency Mother New York.
Karlsson’s influence in the creative and marketing space is widely acknowledged, with Forbes naming him “The 10th most influential CMO in the world” and Rum Magazine in Sweden ranking him as “The #1 most influential person in design and architecture.”
In his new role at SharkNinja, Karlsson will be responsible for brand storytelling, shaping the company’s creative vision and improving consumer engagement strategies, according to a press release. Karlsson will be based out of SharkNinja’s global headquarters in Needham, Massachusetts, and will also work from the company’s new Creative Design Hub in New York, which opens this year.
