This month, the top five Boston funding rounds raised a giant $271 million total. Affinivax snagged the No. 1 spot with its $120 million Series B. Read on to find out more about each of the top funding rounds for April of 2020.

 

#5. $16 million, April 8

It offers a digital mental-health platform that gives access to over 30 programs. MemorialCare Innovation Fund led the Series B round. This brought their total raised to over $30 million.

 

#4. $20 million, April 23

Randori only launched two months ago, and it offers an attack platform that simulates hacks. This helps its clients prepare for potential security issues. Harmony Partners led the Series A round.

 

#3. $45 million, April 29

The four-year-old biotech startup developed genetically modified seeds for farmers. It wants to make healthier plants that grow faster and are more resilient to climate change. K2 HealthVentures provided the funding.

 

#2. $75 million, April 9

The company acquires Amazon third-party private label businesses, mostly ones that sell essential everyday products. Then it optimizes and operates them. The latest funding brought its total raised to over a quarter billion dollars.
