The company announced the addition of Abhimanyu (Abhi) Verma as chief technology officer and Peter Casasanto as chief biopharma officer to enhance its business within the pharmaceutical industry. ClearGov got $20M. The Boston-based govtech startup announced a $20 million strategic growth investment round led by Frontier Growth. ClearGov uses AI to help local governments and their departments streamline budgeting processes, and also creates easy-to-read infographics for citizens to view. A new accelerator for Harvard alumni. Pegasus Tech Ventures and Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs co-launched the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Accelerator to help scale startups founded by Harvard graduates. 3Play Media launched a new captioning solution. 3Play Media, a provider of video accessibility services, announced the availability of its Live Professional Captioning platform. The company claims that the new platform represents the first technology innovation in captioning in years. Onapsis gained a new CFO. Onapsis focuses on cybersecurity, but in the realm of business-critical applications, providing solutions such as vulnerability management and threat detection.
