PreVeil raised $20M. PreVeil provides a secure way for users to share files over the cloud. The Boston startup takes a zero trust approach, offering end-to-end encryption for all messages and documents shared on its platform. The Series C funding will be used to grow its customer base in new industries and to make its technology available to third-party application developers via open APIs. [Business Wire]

Breezeway secured $15M. Breezeway helps short-term rental operators schedule maintenance and repairs for their properties. The platform also allows crews to track inventory of toiletries, like toilet paper and shampoo, and other items, so owners know which items need to be restocked. The Series B funding from Catalyst Investors brings the company’s total funding to $36.2 million. [Built In Boston]

Boston Tech Quote of the Week

Mercury pulled in $7.5M. Mercury partners with college sports teams to enhance the fan experience. The platform offers non-fungible tokens, digital collectibles and special access passes that sometimes allow fans to meet players and coaches. The seed funding round, led by Multicoin Capital, will be used to grow Mercury’s leadership team as it prepares to scale. [Business Wire]

Trova was featured in our Future 5 series. Our quarterly series of innovative early-stage startups kicked off last week with Trova, an app that allows employees to share who they are outside of work. The platform then uses AI to match coworkers with each other based on their shared interests. Trova recently launched a Slack integration that allows employees to view profiles and match with like-minded coworkers without ever leaving the Slack app. [Built In Boston]

Perygee bagged $4.75M. This Boston startup specializes in securing IoT and OT systems, such as building automation systems, smart factory equipment and medical devices. By unlocking data from these systems, Perygee can automate a swift security response. In addition to announcing its funding round, Perygee also launched a self-service onboarding experience that allows anyone to use a free tier of its platform. [Built In Boston]
