OwnUp raised $14.9 million to help borrowers compare mortgages. The company, which provides an online mortgage marketplace complete with home loan advisors, saves customers $20,000 over the life of their loans, it said. With this funding, OwnUp plans to grow its 29-person team. [Built In Boston]

Fairmarkit, which automates corporate procurement, secured $11 million to expand its team and boost integrations for its product. When companies buy things, they often have to collect and document a whole suite of quotes. Mastercard acquired Boston company SessionM to enhance its customer loyalty programs. SessionM is a customer engagement platform for retailers, airlines, restaurants and consumer packaged goods companies. Bay Area company Alfresco Software is moving its headquarters to Boston. The open source SaaS provider will open a new office in Wellesley in November with 30 employees. The move follows Alfresco’s acquisition last year by Boston-based private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. Voxel8 raised Series B funding to expand multi-material digital manufacturing. The company, which was founded in 2014 by Harvard materials science and engineering professor Dr. Jennifer Lewis, sells a platform that lets shoe and apparel manufacturers digitally design, test and assemble products that use multiple materials.
