This is a pre-sales focused platform role. The individual will need to be able to present DataRobot Architecture, Security and Scaleability to prospects, Customers and Partners. The candidate must have a strong background in middleware pre-sales and be comfortable preparing and delivering presentations, Answering in-depth technical questions and helping CFDS and Support assist a prospect through the POC process. Post-sales relationship with the customers is also required but the primary focus is to ensure the sales team ( AE and CFDS ) are well supported through the sales process and resources are made available at the appropriate times. The Successful candidate will also ensure the customer is ready for an agreed POC and their environment is adequate to deliver a great customer experience.
Activities:
- Present DataRobot Architecture
- Prepare RFP and Security questionnaire responses
- Manage local partners
- Help plan and execute installs for POC
- Help plan and execute upgrades and expansions of customer environments
- Capture and track feature requests and bugs generated by the sales process.
- Ensure complex technical discussions are managed well and customers objections around technology do not prevent a sale progressing through POC to close.
Requirements
- Travel (20-30%) to domestic and international customer sites
- 5+ years of experience interacting with Enterprise customers and providing outstanding technical sales support
- Great presentation skills and political awareness
- A range of experience with platform and middleware components which will allow the candidate to talk about Platform requirements and security and how DataRobot scales in Linux and Hadoop environments.
- Good knowledge of one hadoop platform
